Anita was born and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended Washington University there and received a bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a teaching certificate. Within the art school Anita majored in graphic design. After her graduation her family moved to Colorado and she has lived in Boulder and Loveland since then. Having always been interested in learning new things and exploring many subjects, she considers herself a lifelong learner. To this end, she has been exploring her potential to help others and herself on life’s journey. After a wonderful experience with energy work in 2004, Anita took classes to become a Reiki practitioner and things just expanded from there. Since then she has taken many holistic classes, over 1000 hours worth, and met wonderful people during these explorations. One of Anita’s greatest experiences was studying to become a certified reflexologist. Anita loves people! She enjoys the uniqueness of each individual and how they view life and interact in different ways. What were they like when they were younger, what will they do as they get older? Since her teenage years, volunteering with various service organizations has been an important part of her life. Reading science fiction, fantasy, and mystery books is one of her hobbies. And she also reads books on various holistic and metaphysical topics to find key points. All these sources of knowledge come together to support her unique practice. As an artist in many mediums she loves taking classes that stimulate creativity. Anita loves to be outside in nature as often as possible. She has been able to spend summer vacations camping in Alaska and in the western U.S. with her husband. This fascination with nature has led her to learn to work with crystals, herbs, essential oils, and nature centered healing, and the love of animals has stimulated her curiosity about their lives and messages. She feels fortunate to be able to provide energy work of various modalities for people to use while creating their own inner harmony and holistic healing. It is her belief that if we develop our human potential we can have an exceptional quality of life – mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Anita has been overjoyed to become an attunement practitioner through the classes at Sunrise Ranch. She has given attunements since 2012 and became a certified attunement practitioner in 2014. Currently, Anita gives attunements to Ranch kitchen staff once a week and in 2016 was privileged to give weekly attunements to the FSE students. She also serves as an on call person for guests at the Ranch when groups request attunement times. Anita is available to give attunements in person or through distance work.
