For many years, I’ve marvelled at the profound magic of Attunement as a healing modality and spiritual practice. I have participated in teaching Attunement to groups, sharing Attunements one-on-one, and offering long distance Attunement. I know the healing power, positive impact and aligning influence Attunement has had in the lives of many people.
Many years ago, a close friend of mine lay in a hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa, a thousand miles from where I live in Cape Town. He was waiting for surgery to remove a kidney stone. He had been in great pain and it was clear the offending stone would need to be removed. When I spoke to him on the phone, we agreed on a time for him to receive a long distance Attunement. I arranged for a friend to provide a contact point for me to work through to provide the attunement for him. Of course, you don’t need a third person to offer long distance Attunement, but because of the nature of the situation, we felt that working through a surrogate would assist the potential of this particular session.
Long story short, the Attunement commenced. After a sustained period of focusing the attunement current and allowing for a healthy intensification of radiant energy to penetrate the situation, the blockage was suddenly released. With a sense of having accomplished something creative, we gave thanks with a happy sigh of relief!
Early the next morning, the surgeon was amazed to find that the kidney stone had passed through the urethra! No surgery was needed. Later our friend reported he felt the discomfort dissipate in his body at the exact same time I was offering the Attunement, even though we were a thousand miles away!
The power of what Lloyd Arthur Meeker (Uranda), founding father of Attunement, had offered as the sacred premise underlying the Attunement service, is emblazoned in the words “Let Love radiate without concern for results.”
As an Attunement server for over 40 years, I have held this as a sacred covenant, respecting the Universal Way of how Love operates—“Not mine, but thy Will be done in earth as it is in heaven!”
I am currently sharing long distance Attunements with a fine young woman who lives in Europe, and offering some additional counselling via text messages. This has opened an avenue of extending the gift of Attunement with supportive “distance mentoring” as seems helpful.
Through our Attunements and text messaging exchanges, my client, who has become a friend, reports transformational changes occurring in her consciousness around issues of trust and self-assurance and she reports a growing ability to stay centered in her everyday living. She attributes these positive changes to our Attunements and the mentoring support. I, of course, have the pleasure of seeing someone experiencing an ongoing awakening and personal transformation as she takes new steps in her consciously awakened life journey.
Just a few days ago, this friend requested a distance Attunement. However, having neglected to adjust her time for the one-hour time difference between us, she later told me, somewhat amazed, that though she wasn’t prepared for the Attunement that she expected to take place an hour later, and feeling somewhat restless and irritable during a lunch date with her parents (a familiar pattern of feeling, she readily admits to), she suddenly felt a strong call from within herself to shift the focus of her attention. Her body straightened and thoughts prompted her to refocus. As if on automatic control, she found herself letting go to a place of peace and unexpected tranquility. The restless discontent she was experiencing while being with her parents dissolved! She reports feeling a deep sense of relaxed acceptance as the familiar interference patterns of irritability and impatience melted away and she opened to an entirely different quality of experience that transcended the feeling and thought patterns associated with her parents.
It’s important that you know I have her permission to share this experience, as she is keen that others know the empowerment she is experiencing with Attunement and how it supports her spiritual centering. She says “Wow, never mind time and distance, Attunement really works!”
Of course, this story is just an example of what is available to anyone, and as Jesus was reported to have said, “For where two or three are gathered in my name [in Identity in True Being which is our common bond that we all share], there am I in the midst of them.” Other spiritual teachers and poets have sounded their praise for the wonderful healing power of Love, their expressions encouraging us to a greater awakening and realisation of the true attunement experience in our living.
So, why not place our deepest trust in the Universal Wisdom and healing power of Love, letting love radiate without demanding results in the form of things that we think we want but rather, let the creative power of Love bring its own rewards, making us and all things new!
