Right Attitude
I wish to begin by sharing a definition of the word attitude which I was keen to explore. The simplest phrase I found was “the way a person views something or tends to behave towards it.” This can give one a feeling that attitude could be of a rather static nature. As I read Martin’s words quoted above, I got the feeling of possibility, movement, warmth, and care. I love the expansion of the reality of attitude as presented in this way.
Attitudes based in love have incredible potential, can shift and change, and are an ever-increasing blessing to one’s world. I enjoy recalling the phrase “attitude can bring altitude.”
This past month I have had the opportunity to ask myself repeatedly, Is this thought, feeling, or action based in love? Or is it based in an old feeling, thought, idea, or action? As one opens one’s capacities to the expanse of Love available, the experience of Attunement with Life is clear and strong. I have found that this openness allows me/us to align with a level of being that can influence attitude in a wonderful and powerful way.
Can’t you just feel the expansion of love through your capacities and your world as you consider this reality? I can, and I delight in sharing it with you.

Dear Marilyn, thank you so much for expanding on Martin’s quotation. It can be easy at times to sense that another person’s behaviour misses the mark, and that could easily be judgement. For me attitude is synonymous with Spirit, the tone behind the action. Yes I really look at my habits and comforts, and intercede more fully, that my life has a flow of meaning. Blessings.
