This Week’s Quotation:
Now we do have those instances where it (determination) comes out a clear current of ambition – ambition is a very misunderstood word in my estimation, very much abused – but it is something where there is a natural expression of the individual’s life. It is buoyant; it moves forward more or less irresistibly. There is perseverance in it, there is strength in it, there is determination, but it is generally, at least a little bit, considerate. And that type of pattern allows the individual to take great strides in moving forward to whatever pattern of fulfilment he feels is natural to his being.

Volition of the Heart

A Cosmopolitan in Love with Truth
When Passion and Purpose Move as One, that is the Volition of the Heart.
Attunement:
Take a slow breath into your heart. Whisper inwardly: “May my passion move in harmony with divine purpose.” Feel your breath steady, your awareness soften, and your inner fire come into stillness.
There comes a moment when passion no longer surges as striving or ambition but steadies into a quiet flame of clarity. It is here that purpose reveals itself—not as a goal to chase, but as a current we remember how to flow with.
The volition of the heart is not willpower; it is sacred willingness—the soul’s consent to be guided by the wisdom that moves through all things. When passion and purpose are in phase, we are no longer driven by desire or fear. We are moved by love.
Higher Wisdom does not command or persuade; it whispers through peace. Its guidance feels like stillness in motion—effortless, grounded, unmistakably true. The mind may question, but the heart knows. Its knowing carries no tension, only coherence.
To discern this higher movement, we listen not for volume but for vibration. Does the impulse expand you? Does it open your heart, soften your edges, and invite trust? If so, it is love leading the way.
When passion becomes an expression of love aligned with divine intent, every action becomes service. We are not here to manufacture purpose, but to remember it—to allow the soul’s deeper rhythm to move through thought, word, and deed.
Closing Reflection:
Sit in quiet gratitude and ask: “How does love wish to move through me today?”
Then listen. The answer will come, softly, from within the heart’s own volition.
In this attunement, I invite your heart’s volition to become the purest form of creation: effortless, luminous, whole.
What Is Attunement?
Attunement is a consciousness practice and an energy medicine practice that leads to personal spiritual regeneration.

Your words, Anne-Lise, read like beautiful poetry and carry Truth and insight in such a natural flowing way. How true that our passion for purpose does not require striving and ego-centered ambition, just relaxing into the natural movement of the creative process of Life, built into the very fabric of our Being.
The volition of the heart is not willpower; it is sacred willingness—the soul’s consent to be guided by the wisdom that moves through all things. When passion and purpose are in phase, we are no longer driven by desire or fear. We are moved by love.
Anne-Lisa – every thing you wrote is special in my heart – and what is copied above – will stay with me for a very long time – hopefully forever!!!!
