Liberation Is the Gift of Surrender

If we’re honest, most of us spend a lot of energy trying to run life on our own terms.
We try to manage outcomes, control circumstances, and protect ourselves from uncertainty. Somewhere inside, we feel that if we can just get everything arranged correctly, life will finally work the way it’s supposed to.
But often the opposite happens. The tighter we grip life, the more tension we seem to create—within ourselves and in our relationships.
Martin Cecil offers a different way of seeing things. He reminds us that the government of God is not something we have to build or enforce. It already exists. It is the natural order of love, truth, and life moving through the universe.
Our part is much simpler than we sometimes think.
We simply elect to live in alignment with it.
That election doesn’t usually happen in some grand spiritual moment. It happens in the quiet choices of everyday life: choosing honesty instead of manipulation, patience instead of reaction, kindness instead of judgment. Each time we pause and let the deeper wisdom of the heart guide us, we yield a little more to that divine government.
And something surprising begins to happen.
Instead of feeling restricted, we begin to feel freer. The burden of trying to control everything starts to fall away. We discover that when love, truth, and life are allowed to govern our thoughts, our words, and our actions, life begins to move with a natural harmony.
Surrendering to divine governance is not defeat.
Liberation is the gift of this surrendering.
This is the gift of Attunement.

Surely it is becoming more apparent that government by the self-active mind or human ego doesn’t work individually or collectively. I think the handwriting is on the wall, either we let go to the government of God/Love or risk mass extinction. Thanks, Sece, for moving us in the right direction.
