This Week’s Quotation:
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
~ Jesus of Nazareth
Purity of Heart
The quotation this week is from someone who was perhaps the most gifted Attunement practitioner to walk the earth. The stories of how people were healed in his presence are laced throughout the gospels. There is the story of the woman who was healed when she touched the hem of his garment, the story of the healing of Mary Magdalene at seven levels of her being, and many more.
In these words is a key to the Attunement he offered. In a marvelous economy of words that is characteristic of his teaching, he offers this profound key to the Attunement process, purity of heart. If we can see this truth, stripped of the shroud of puritanical overlay, perhaps we can feel the invitation implicit in it—to live in a state of innocence in which we see Reality.
I notice that there is no restriction to his statement and no qualifying words that accompany it. He did not say “…after you die” or “in heaven” or “through the Bible.” Only, “…they shall see God.”
I take that to mean that the pure in heart see God in everything and everyone. That we see past the crassness of the culture in which we live to see Reality at its source. And that the reality of God appears to us in heart and mind.
I take these words as an invitation to allow consciousness to ascend to the place where I know purity of heart, I see reality, and I know I am blessed.
Shall we go to that place?
What is Attunement?
Attunement is a consciousness practice and an energy medicine practice that leads to personal spiritual regeneration.
Possibly the most important quote ever!
David, in my experience it takes purity of heart to receive a blessing. There is a lot to unpack just in that statement. Thanks so much for this. Bill Robertson
David – Let’s all do go to that place – and thank heaven – the more of us that go that place, the more are awakened to go to that place as well……blessings All
