This Week’s Quotation:
You are establishing an Attunement not with the ill conditions but with the person, who is a living entity before you.

Seeing the Living Being

Attunement Teacher and Practitioner
Why does the subconscious mind insist on turning people into their problems?
Someone mentions a headache and suddenly they’re “the one with a migraine.” A friend struggles with anxiety and we label them “the nervous one.” It’s as if we’ve appointed ourselves as cosmic filing clerks, cataloging everyone by their current difficulties.
But what if this well-meaning tendency perpetuates the very conditions we hope to transform? What if identifying people with their problems becomes spiritual handcuffs, locking them into limited versions of themselves?
True spiritual service requires a kind of divine sight that is unconcerned with surface appearances and instead has a laser focus on eternal essence. This doesn’t mean ignoring genuine struggles or pretending everything’s fine. Yet, cultivating any ability to see beyond temporary circumstances breathes life into the indestructible spirit within.
Isn’t it curious that it’s still possible to recognize our favorite songs even when a radio station is not quite in tune? Static doesn’t change the melody’s identity. Similarly, life’s temporary static—illness, limitation, confusion—doesn’t alter the fundamental song of who someone truly is.
When we establish Attunement with people’s essential selves rather than their circumstances, we offer something invaluable: a mirror reflecting their divine nature instead of their struggles.
What Is Attunement?
Attunement is a consciousness practice and an energy medicine practice that leads to personal spiritual regeneration.
Your words are a profound reminder of the sanctity of each unique Being. May kindness be my/our practice. Deep thanks
Yes Oran Thanx for your laser beam, and the clear expression about relating to the people in my world with my laser beam {A gentle one}
I even hear the music playing even before I put the radio on, because there are many songs in my heart. And the connection with the undisturped tone is with me..Irene

This is so beautifully put Oren – and so important for us to know and remember and share.
So simple, so clear, so beautifully said, Oren. Thank you.
Your words, Oren, remind me of a verse in the Old Testament Book of Samuel: The Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. No matter what is present or happening with the outer form of an individual, our Attunement relationship is with their Divine Nature, the Wonderful One Within.
HI Oren. Yes, well said. I recall a chiropractor leader and friend, Dr. Bill Bahan referring to one of his colleagues who sadly said “here comes bursitis” or “here comes arthritis” when he saw a patient coming. The colleague Bill spoke about say the condition, not the person. Very sad. Because I used to teach media, I had other colleagues who taught media studies, and one was also very demeaning of his students – sadly. He would listen to them debate and engage in discussion in class. They later he would say to a colleague “Here come’s Fox.” or “Here comes “CBS” or, in the case of some students, “Here comes Jon Stewart” … although it was sad that the students were programmed by a single source that my colleague could identify, it was much more sad that he did not see students as whole people. What about me? Do I see someone in their full potential and such as the very one I am — a human being? Thanks for your caring thinking about this. My love and thanks to you. Aloha, Tom C.
Thank you, Oren – I love the clarity of your articulation about ‘seeing the living Being’ and not the circumstance, and I say, the ‘drama’ around the person.
Gratitude 🙏
