This Week’s Quotation:
“Love gives on the basis of an understanding of the truth. It gives on the basis of a respect for that toward which the giving is flowing. When we love ourselves, we begin to be in position to love our neighbor, because we begin to have the experience of the reality of love -love which builds, creates, uplifts, and draws together into oneness.”

The Truth of Self-Love

Inspirational Speaker, Spiritual Coach & Attunement Practitioner
I’ve come to see that self-love is much more honest and much less glamorous than I once thought.
For a long time, I associated self-love with feeling good about myself, being kind to myself, or giving myself what I wanted. But in my experience, that version doesn’t hold. It doesn’t actually deepen my lived experience or my relationships. If anything, it can leave me more disconnected from myself and from others.
What I’ve been learning, slowly and sometimes reluctantly, is that real self-love begins with respect for what is true. It asks something of me. It invites me to listen more deeply, to be patient with my own process, and to choose what is accurate over what is merely comfortable.
There are moments when I notice the impulse to turn away from myself . . . to distract, to judge, or to bypass something I don’t want to feel. And yet, when I stay, when I bring a steady, quiet presence to what’s actually happening inside me, something shifts.
There is a softening. A kind of integrity returns.
From that place, love doesn’t feel like something I have to generate for others. It begins to move naturally. I’m less reactive, less guarded, more able to see, hear, and be with people as they are.
This is where I’ve felt the One Law in motion—not as a concept, but as a living current of creative energy. When I am willing to let love move toward myself in truth, it flows outward without strain. The giving and receiving become one movement.
And in those moments, there is a quiet knowing that this is what restores.
What Is Attunement?
Attunement is a consciousness practice and an energy medicine practice that leads to personal spiritual regeneration.

Thanks Sece for this clear & gentleman description of letting go to Love rather than trying to gather love around oneself. For me the “Ah Ha!” moment was deeply realising that I’m surrounded by Love, like a fish in the ocean. Not a concept- a felt knowing. Then it was a matter of tuning in to the Love all around me. Then it became so natural to let Love move through me – as you describe, the flow in & out with effortless ease. What a joy & privilege to live this way!
That God is with me in what ever moment I am in, is a nourishing knowing, So I can bring into my world Love, Care and deep listening, first to myself——-,what comes up from the unconscious realms- and when I let go off there is a new space, for the people who are opening up to me–when it feels save to open, to let their hearts be touched. And in that space I remind them of a bigger awareness and a higher place.
Thank You for opening up your place Sece
