The Truth Within Us

This Week’s Quotation:

So it isn’t a matter of recalling words out of the past, whether those words were the words of Jesus or anybody else, if we are to know the truth in this moment. Recalling some words that were the truth insofar as the ones who spoke them were concerned when they were spoken, we may be reminded of what is required of us now. But let us not ever imagine that the truth can be known by bringing forward something out of the past. This is something that must be born in the moment.

The Truth Within Us

Sece Foster
Inspirational Speaker, Spiritual Coach & Attunement Practitioner

Do you ever feel like you’re swimming in a sea of information, desperately searching for a life raft?

In today’s world, we’re bombarded with knowledge from every direction, often overlooking the wisdom that lives within us in the present moment.

Think about it. How often do we turn to sacred texts, quotes from historical figures, or the latest self-help trends for guidance or validation? While these can offer insights, a true understanding of our reality requires a connection and inner dialogue with the part of us that never dies.

The essence of Martin’s quote lies in its challenge to us: to not just regurgitate the past but to actively engage with the now. It acknowledges the value of historical wisdom as a signpost to the eternal wisdom available within us in the present.

Living in the moment means being aware of our surroundings, our emotions, and our interactions. It means embracing uncertainty and being open to continuous learning and adaptation. This is the art of living in Attunement.

So, the next time you find yourself seeking answers from the past, pause. Take a deep breath. Go into the stillness. Look around you. The truth you seek may not be in ancient texts or archived speeches but in the subtle nuances of the present moment, waiting to be discovered and understood in a new way. Embrace the now, for therein lies the path to true wisdom and clarity.

What Is Attunement?

Thank you so much, Sece. As I reflect upon the past I am keenly aware that we are meant to ascend beyond what has gone before and enter the only moment that we can bring greater light into the world, by being in the NOW.

It is a false humility that spiritual truth is only to be found in historical texts and writings or in the words of contemporary religious leaders and that I or anyone else have no truth to bring to the world. Spiritually centered, we are each capable of expressing the Truth of Love in each present moment. Thanks, Martin and Sece, for making this clear.

Yes, within the eternal nowbeit is the source of all wisdom. As a friend says “The past is a cancelled check; the future is a promissary note, but NOW HERE is the pot of gold. ” Loving thanks, Sece, for your message — and of course to Martin, David, uranda, and all others who inspire us in this now moment. MAY WE be the source of inspiration and know the SOURCE of inspiration without having to parrot past prophets. Love, tom
