The Story Behind the Story
I recently turned 65 and I am ready for and sense that it is time for a career change. So, as part of my preparations for whatever is next I did some research today on future social security benefits and counted how many years I have lived overseas as a US citizen…it came as no surprise that the total was 21 years. That is three seven year cycles (water, air, earth) and to me that indicates the next seven years may well be about moving with the pulsations of life as characterized by that which is symbolized by fire.
So I can easily surmise that my next career change will have elements that could be described as fiery in nature. This makes me think of the nature of love; how it transforms all it touches and how my next job really is all about moving into new levels of maturity and experience that transform my current knowing of myself and others into something quite new. This is the 24/7 job description of being in attunement.
How?
As with any new job, as well as the processes leading up to being hired, there needs to be some perseverance by both the job seeker and the potential employer. Perseverance is needed by the job seeker in his or her preparations for the fiery cycle of the job interview and if hired, then a willingness and perseverance about “being in the fire” while learning and mastering a host of new employment situations and relationships.
I think we have all already been “interviewed” and “hired” to be in attunement…a birthright, really. Do you know the top ten skills sought after by employers?
