We have had the opportunity so far this morning in our consideration to recognize the reality of a universal language, a language which comes to us through the spirit of all that we may observe. It is a language which speaks of oneness. Oneness is love; it is, then, the language of love. This language speaks of life. It speaks of the life of our own experience and the sense of life which we may have when we hearken to this language, life which spreads through the whole cosmos, perhaps not merely in the forms with which we are familiar here on the surface of this planet but a life which is inherent everywhere. We have the experience of a living cosmos, of a living galaxy, of a living solar system, of a living earth—life everywhere.
In relationship to all this, we observe something most majestic. One can hardly consider the cosmic scheme of things, the very large, without recognizing majesty.

The Language of Love

On this Monday morning, like many people worldwide, I’ve heard terrible reports of unspeakable violence. The news reporter called it disturbing. But it was far worse than that.
If there is something especially horrific happening in the world, count on the media to report it. I suppose that is their job. But then there are all the lesser assaults on the experience of majesty that Martin spoke of.
And so, even though majesty is present…
Even though we can feel the living cosmos within ourselves…
Even though the language of love is available to us…
The human heart can become so bitterly disillusioned and disappointed that it turns away.
And so, on this Monday morning, I remind myself, and you, dear reader of this short article, that we have the opportunity to know the majesty that is all around. We have the ability to speak the language of love to the world. Especially now.
This is our answer to all that is yet unwholesome in human experience.
Here is another word to describe the unfolding shape and pattern of reality. Holy. Beautiful beyond words.
The beauty of all that has yet to be expressed and embodied by you and me in living is holy.
The language of love is holy.
The beauty of the living earth is holy.
Let us enter the experience of what is holy. And in so doing, lead the human heart back to the majesty of this living earth.

Yes, David, the language and expression of love is holy and beautiful. It has been said “Beauty is God’s way of remaining obvious” Let us choose beautiful words and feed our beautiful thoughts so they may grow and be shared.
There is all kinds of hunger and pain in the worldbeing played out in front of our eyes, ….and the greatest need is for the language of love to be spoken, known, demonstated and lived , the gift we each have to bring as fully as we can .
Yes, the language of love must supplant and transmogrify the language of bombs and toxic media. It is within me to use my heart, mind, and tongue to bring greater love to our world.
