Love bargains not because Love has need of nothing. ~ Lloyd Arthur Meeker I love words like this that convey a transcendent truth. They inspire an awareness of an absolute reality that becomes a standard for my human experience.

Through all our outer experiences—sickness and health, calamity and fortune, adversity, and smooth sailing, we, as human beings, have the opportunity to claim the Inner Assurance that Lloyd Arthur Meeker wrote about in 1936.

Imagination plays a vital role in the practice of Attunement and in the life of Attunement practitioners.
Without imagination, a person is often unable to see anything other than the facts of what is. They can’t see what could be.

When you think about it, isn’t it true that so much of what is significant in the human experience is unobservable to our five senses? You might feel or see the results of it. But you can’t observe it directly.
We can’t even see our thoughts or feelings. Much less the creative forces that energize and activate the human body and all the rest of our human experience.

So we are dealing with what? A process of fighting against disease? Not at all. We are dealing with a creative process that puts something where something has been absent, where it was not. We are not dealing with disease. We are not fighting disease, any more than we would fight the darkness. We are sharing with the Creator the work of putting something somewhere where before it was not. It was absent, perhaps from the liver or something else, in some person’s body or mind or heart. But to put something where there was an absence of that something, that is what we are doing: sharing with God the responsibility of creating. And we cannot do it unless we are in Attunement with God. It is done as we help the individual come into Attunement with God.

We are introducing the idea that words, whether spoken aloud or silently to oneself, focus consciousness and have the potential to increase awareness of presence. This is based on the premise that we live in a universe that responds to consciousness. The more conscious we become, the more we bring a presence that the universe supports and participates in.
